SARAJEVO, May 14 (FENA) - Minister of Interior of the Federation of BiH Aljoša Čampara stated at yesterday's extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of FBiH Parliament on security situation, that Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was given information to fill the active assembly of police force with 110 officers, 55 for the special unit and 55 for support.
"Furthermore, we will demand the Government of FBiH to allocate one million KM for the lacking equipment," added Čampara.
Session will resume today at 11 o'clock.
Vice President of the Committee on Security of FBiH Hajrudin Žilić presented security challenges in the Federation and the recent procurement of 2500 automatic guns in the entity of Republika Srpska and formation of reserve police force in this entity.
Second conclusion states to instruct FMoI to make an assessment of the security situation and launch procedure of formation and equipping a unit for detecting, monitoring and preventing any form of security endangerment in territory of the Federation from frameworks of constitutional jurisdictions of FBiH in area of security.
Due to migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina a third conclusion was proposed, stating that the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH should call competent state bodies (Council of Ministers of BiH and both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH) to support activities of state institutions involved in migrant issues (BiH Border Police, OSA, Service for Foreigners' Affairs) in context of material and human resources.
