SARAJEVO, May 21 (FENA) - The value of contracted construction works of the FBiH companies abroad for the first three months of 2019 increased by 7.8 percent compared to the same period in 2018, while the value of completed construction works increased in the same period by 4.5 percent.
Of the total value of the works carried out abroad in 2018, the largest part refers to the countries of Europe, i.e., 98.2 percent.
The share of building construction in the total construction works is 49.9 percent, and the share of civil engineering projects is 50.1 percent, stated the FBiH Statistics Institute.
Of the total value of the works that our companies have had on foreign markets last year, 31.6 percent refers to building construction, and the remaining 68.4 percent are in the civil engineering sector.
