SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) – Association IT Company Bit Alliance launched the first portal for career counseling in the IT sector in BiH– ITkarijera.ba, which offers young people and others useful advice related to career in the IT sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Portal ITkarijera.ba, which was presented at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University in Sarajevo (Bit Alliance Lab) yesterday, provides a comprehensive overview of possibility of education, workplaces, scholarships, conferences and business advice in the IT sector. It was emphasized that aim of the portal is to encourage and inform young people to get interested in IT, as one of the fastest growing sectors, which has great potential for development in BiH.
Executive Director of BIT Alliance Tatjana Vučić said it is a unique platform which will integrate all key actors of IT industry.
Portal was developed through cooperation between Bit Alliance and MarketMakers project.
MarketMakers is a long year project of the Swiss government which is implemented by Posao.ba, that is, Kolektiv and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.
