GORAŽDE, June 7 (FENA) - In the course of today’s visit to Bosnian Podrinje Canton, the Federation of BiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić held a meeting with BPC Prime Minister Aida Obuća, and announced that the building permit for the construction of the Hranjen tunnel would be issued next week.
“We have secured 63 million KM for the construction of the tunnel, and today we have agreed to secure approximately the same amount of money so as not to impede the construction works in the next three years, so that we have a direct road communication between Goražde and Sarajevo,” said Novalić.
The two delegations also discussed the change of the categorization of the road route from the village of Kamenica towards Gorazde to the standard of the main road.
“We also touched upon other important topics for the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, such as investing in the Ustikolina hydro power plant, support for factories in defense sector, and also a systemic support for the sports,” added Novalić.
The meeting was attended by General Manager of Elektroprivreda BiH Bajazit Jašarević, BPC Assembly Chairman Edita Velić and Ministers in the Government of BPC.
