TEŠANJ, June 13 (FENA) - The 15th International Tešanj Business Fair opened today, and it will last until June 16. It has gathered 300 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, and they will present their business activities at six thousand square meters of closed and 12,000 open space.
The fair is an opportunity to connect, exchange experiences, analyze the current trends and find opportunities for progress, it was pointed out at the opening.
Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić said that the Tešanj Fair is one of the best models for presenting the BiH economy and showing partners from around world that BiH products satisfy the highest possible standards.
“It is important that we continue with reforms that will improve the business environment. It is necessary to start the education reform in order to adapt it to the labor market and to accelerate the construction of infrastructure, both energy and digital one, in order to keep up with the region, Europe and the world,” said Zvizdić.
He also emphasized the importance of youth employment, as a priority, in order to create a better environment for continued development.
The FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić considers the Tešanj Fair one of the most important business events in BiH.
“I feel free to say that since the first fair in Tešanj that I attended as prime minister, a lot of things have been done to make it easier to do business in BiH, and that we have been a reliable partner all along,” said Novalić, adding that the foundations of healthy development have been laid and that strong and stable BiH economy can be built on them.
He pointed out that Tešanj is an example of ease of doing business, as a brand recognizable in Europe.
“Tešanj must not be an exception, or an isolated case,” said Novalić.
The same was confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljalić, stating that Tešanj is a place where economy and development are the major topics.
The fair, apart from domestic exhibitors, also gather businesses from the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, North Macedonia, which is a partner of this year’s fair, also Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Turkey.
