BiH - Nearly 819.000 tourist overnight stays in four months

SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) – There were 381.896 tourist visits in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period January-April 2019, which is by 10.5 percent higher than in the same period last year.

Number of overnight stays of local tourists was higher by 10.3 percent, and foreign tourists by 13.4 percent, Agency for Statistics of BiH stated.

Most foreign tourists came from Croatia (23.3 percent), Serbia (13.4 percent), Slovenia (6.5 percent), Italy (5.2 percent), Germany and Turkey ( 4.7 percent respectively), China (3.6 percent) and United Arab Emirates (3.1 percent)...
