BUGOJNO, June 27 (FENA) - The terrorist act in Bugojno, which took place on this day nine years ago, has left a lasting stamp in the recent history of the city and consequences that cannot be overcome.
This was announced today in Bugojno, where the anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Bugojno Police Station was marked. One police officer, Tarik Ljubuškić, was killed and another one, Edina Hindić, was seriously injured.
Six police officers were slightly injured, while massive damage was caused to the Bugojno Police Department building and surrounding buildings and vehicles.
In memory of this event, numerous police, municipal and town delegations laid flowers and paid tribute to the slain police officer Tarik Ljubušić.
The person suspected of the attack Haris Čaušević Oks was found guilty of the criminal offense of terrorism and sentenced to 35 years in prison.
