SREBRENICA, July 8 (FENA) - The Peace March 2019 started off this morning from Nezuk to Potočari to honor the innocent victims of the genocide that took place in Srebrenica in July 1995.
President of the Peace March Subcommittee Munir Habibović confirmed to FENA that about six and a half thousand participants are attending this year’s Peace March.
“Today around 17:00 hours we are planning to arrive in Liplje. We don’t know when we will depart for Kameničko Hill because everything depends on the weather. We will make a decision about that tomorrow night in Camp Mravinjci,” Habibović said.
During the Peace March, the participants will attend a history lesson, and the arrival of the participants in Potočari is scheduled for July 10 in the afternoon.
The Peace March is one of the most massive activities held in the framework of the marking of the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
