UNDP and Prosecutor's Office - Regional cooperation in prosecution of war crimes

SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office Gordana Tadić met today with United Nations Development Program Resident Representative (UNDP) Stelian Neder and discussed cooperation between the UNDP and the BiH Prosecutor's Office in strengthening the rule of law and regional cooperation in prosecuting war crimes cases.

Through its projects, UNDP supports the strengthening of regional cooperation in the fight against the impunity of war crimes.

Regional conferences of prosecutors from the countries of the region are being held within these projects, discussing the current issues related to regional cooperation in war crimes cases.

Tadić thanked the representatives of UNDP for the support they have provided and expressed belief that successful cooperation would continue in the future, stated the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
