Remains of two persons exhumed at a site in the area of Lukavac municipality

SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - Incomplete remains of at least two persons were exhumed in Krstići hamlet, located in Gornja Smoluća, Lukavac municipality.

According to the Institute for Missing Persons in BiH, it is assumed that these are victims of Serb nationality from the past war. The bones fragments of the victims were found near the torched foundations of a house.

“After the exhumation, the remains were transported to the municipal cemetery in Banja Luka for forensic and criminal processing and bone samples were taken for DNA analysis. According to the order of the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office handled the exhumation, said the Missing Persons Institute of BiH.
