SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) – The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina made the decision on compensation of costs of the criminal proceedings against the acquitted president of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) Fahrudin Radončić and ordered for him to be compensated with 24,025 KM from the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As announced by this party, after this decision of the Court, it was expected that Radončić, as well as Bakir Dautbašić and Bilsena Šahman, would additionally receive compensation for the costs of staying in detention and inflicted mental pain.
There is little satisfaction for the victims, SBB says, and they believe that BiH needs a law that will place financial burden for “politically motivated indictments that fail in courts on corrupt and scrupulous prosecutors and not the citizens or the budget of BiH.”
Šahman has already received a fee of 26,500 KM, Dautbašić received 30,854 KM, Radončić 24,025 KM, and a similar amount will be allocated to Zijad Hadžijahić.
