SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) – The Director of the Border Police of BiH Zoran Galić talked on Tuesday in Sarajevo with the Director of the Police of Republika Srpska Darko Ćulum on the implementation of the Agreement on Providing Assistance and Operation Cooperation in Monitoring Borders, which was signed in the latter half of 2018.
Based on the Agreement, police officers of the RS Ministry of Interior together with members of the Border Police were engaged in preventing illegal immigrants from entering with a special focus on the vulnerable eastern and northeastern part of the border. Currently 84 police officers are tasked with this, said the Border Police of BiH.
It was agreed that the RS Ministry of Interior will increase the number of officers who will prevent illegal entering of immigrants from Serbia and Montenegro.
