SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Member and Vice President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Šefik Džaferović told reporters today in Sarajevo that they will continue to fight for the interests of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the interests of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, seeking nothing less than what belongs to it under international law.
“We will persevere,” Džaferović said before the SDA Presidency session began.
In his words, BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik and yesterday's decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska did not protect the vital interest of the entity.
“They have in fact violated the vital interest of BiH and I am quite certain that such a process can launch a violation of vital interests and the entity itself,” said Džaferović.
He added that the reasons Dodik stated are not good enough.
“The BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić and I have reacted with the suggestion of a conclusion on the incident that is happening now. Thus, it is a one-sided construction of the obstacle for Bosnia and Herzegovina in its approach towards the open sea,” said Džaferović.
He noted that this does not rule out the debate on the overall border dispute with Croatia.
