BANJA LUKA, July 21 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak assessed yesterday that a huge burden is now on the Member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, because all political responsibility will be on him in the event of a worst case scenario with Trgovska Gora, the bridge in Gradiška, the border and other issues related to Croatia, which has done a great favor for Republika Srpska.
As for the special session of the RS National Assembly and the support to Dodik's veto, Crnadak says that this is one of the most important constitutional protection mechanisms that the Republika Srpska has, and which gives it enormous strength within BiH.
It remains to be seen, he adds, if it were really all about the vital interest of the RS.
“We will see if it was used in the right way, if we really did work in the vital interest of Republika Srpska. We hope it will not have the same ending as the storya bout the boy who cried wolf,” Crnadak added.
On 18 July at the fifth special session of the RS National Assembly, the National Assembly of Republika Srpska confirmed the statement of the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Republika Srpska regarding the Conclusion on the Acceptance of the Official Position of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the continuation of the construction of the Komarna - Pelješac Bridge without consensus at the 4th regular session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on July 16, 2019, saying it was very damaging to the vital interests of the Republika Srpska.
