MOSTAR, July 22 (FENA) - The Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) and the Croat People's Assembly (HNS) leader Dragan Čović and BiH Defense Minister Marina Pendeš stated together on Monday that BiH's EU and NATO paths have no alternative, agreeing that the issue should not be politicized and used as means to earn cheap political points.
Čović and Pendeš at today’s meeting, which was also attended by the generals of the Armed Forces of BiH, was a chance to discuss current events in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH and topics related to international activities within the NATO integration process and projects in the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and their day-to-day functioning.
They also discussed the challenges on the NATO path of BiH and the modalities to overcome them, and the general socio-political situation and processes in the country, the HDZ BiH said.
"The EU and NATO paths of Bosnia and Herzegovina have no alternative," they said, adding that this is a strategic commitment that should not be politicized.
