SARAJEVO, July 23 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović received today Ulrike Hartmann, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH.
Čović briefed Ambassador Hartmann on the current political situation in BiH and stressed that he thinks that the only solution to the long-term standstill regarding government formation is the joint agreement and compromise of all legitimate representatives of the people of BiH, with representatives of Croats in BiH at all levels of government.
Within the discussion on the EU/NATO path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Čović thanked Ambassador Hartmann for her support to our country. In this regard, the unreserved support of the Republic of Austria was confirmed once again on the EU path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Hartmann informed Čović about projects in which the Republic of Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina are co-participating in, focusing on the twinning project entitled “Empowering and Continuing Support to BiH Parliaments in European Integration Affairs” recently launched at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, parliaments and the Brčko District Assembly, the PA BiH Public Relations Office said.
