SARAJEVO, July 23 (FENA) - Presidents of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), and the Croat Democratic Union of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović and Dragan Čović agreed at today's meeting in Sarajevo that the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić (SDA) and Finance Minister Jelka Milićević (HDZ BiH) develop a reform program for the new Government of FBiH, which is to be established.
Izetbegović said that he expects from the proposed candidate for the new Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers to submit to the Presidency of BiH a summary of the program, which is exclusively based on the Constitution and the law.
“It is time for Tegeltia to do this and to move forward. The summary should contain the plan for speeding up the recovery of the economy and steps for overcoming the departure of young people from the country. As far as NATO is concerned, we should continue to work within the legal framework and the decisions that are legally binding,” added Izetbegović.
Regarding the establishment of the government, Čović said that as far as the FBiH Government is concerned, there should be no problem for the representatives of SDA and HDZ BiH to start developing a program that should define the way the future government would operate.
“It would be primarily the Agenda with very precise timeframes,” says Čović.
Speaking about the Council of Ministers of BiH, he is convinced that a third partner is needed.
Due to the situation in the company "Aluminij" Mostar he announced that on Thursday a meeting will be held at which the Trade Union and the management will inform him about their proposals to overcome the existing situation.
Izetbegović is of the opinion that it is high time for politics to stop meddling into the case of Aluminij Mostar because the solution to this problem should be sought by experts.
