Passenger traffic increased by 2.4%, freight traffic decreased by 17.3%

SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) - At the airports in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, air traffic decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the same period in 2018 in the second quarter of this year (April - June).

At the same time, passenger traffic at FBiH airports in the second quarter of this year was 6.7 percent higher than in the same period last year.

According to the FBiH Bureau of Statistics, freight traffic at FBiH airports in the period April - June this year was lower by 0.6 percent compared to the same period of 2018.

In the first half of the year, the Federation of BiH registered 6,764 flights, which is 3.9 percent less than in the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, FBiH airports registered 732,606 passengers, which is 2.4 percent more than in the first half of 2018.

In the first six months of this year, freight traffic at FBiH airports amounted to 882 tons, which is 17.3 percent less than in the same period last year.
