IGC: Brkić's visit to war criminal Stojić attack on truth and justice

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, July 26 (FENA) - The Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGC) strongly condemns the anti-civilization visit of the Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Milijan Brkić to the sentenced war criminal Bruno Stojić in an Austrian jail.

The IGC's statement says that the visit is another in a series of attacks on truth, justice and international law that humiliates the victims and derogates from the UN's ruling courts, which can have an incalculable consequence for the situation in BiH and the region as well as for world justice and peace.

The statement also says that, at the same time, this visit damages the reputation of the state of Croatia and interstate relations between BiH and Croatia.

It is stated that the political establishment of the Republic of Croatia is persistently trying to make heroes from criminals and depict something that is not true as true.

The Institute for Genocide Research Canada is seeking from the President of the Republic of Croatia and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia to publicly denounce Brkić's act.
