Nikšić: SDA, SNSD and HDZ agreement not realistic

FENA Vanja Tolj

SARAJEVO, August 6 (FENA) – When you think that BiH can fall deeper, you get disappointed. That is what we got yesterday by the parties SDA; SNSD and HDZ which officially announced the signing of the agreement on forming the government at the level of BiH, said SDP President Nermin Nikšić.

Nikšić thinks that the agreement is not realistic and that this is only a sensationalist announcement that the three leaders. Signatories of the agreement, needed.

“It was necessary to Dodik as an indicator that no one from RS can be a partner and solution in the unblocking of the formation of the Council of Ministers and the government at the level of BiH. Every one of the three leaders is interpreting the agreement as they like and Dodik is interpreting it like there is no chance of BiH becoming a NATO member. Unfortunately, I’d say that Dodik is right in regard to this part of the agreement and that the citizens of BiH are at the greatest loss. This is another one of Dodik’ victories on the path towards the disintegration of state level institutions,” Nikšić said.

He is of the opinion that for Dragan Čović this entire issue surrounding the agreement has the purpose of diverting attention from the Aluminij case while the most negative consequences were suffered by Bakir Izetbegović because he agreed to “put the fate of the country in the hands of SNSD and HDZ” despite of opposition from SBB and DF.

“When you see that we have the Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly in one person and the fact that the Parliamentary Assembly does not function and we do not have the Council of Ministers, the FBiH Government and that we are not likely to have sessions of the FBiH Parliament, one thinks that we cannot fall any deeper and that it can't be worse, but we see that it can,” Nikšić's position.

He says it is clear that there is a parliamentary majority and that it is composed of the SDA, SNSD and HDZ, and that the SDA has stepped up and has its partners - the Democratic Front and the SBB, which means there is more than a stable majority, but they cannot agree on important issues.

Nikšić states that nobody in BiH knows whether the Annual National Plan (ANP) will be sent to NATO headquarters or not, and urges SBB and DF to oppose and distance themselves, and all parties that want a normal state to vote against the agreement that, according to Nikšić, leads to the partition of BiH.
