ZENICA, August 14 (FENA) – Seventeen miners of the “Stranjani” pit at the Coal Mine Zenica, who entered the pit yesterday at 15.00, left it today at 11.05.

Coal Mine Zenica Management and the miners have agreed that the shortage of labor will be compensated by hiring new workers soon.

“It is not possible to meet the demand for the return of employees from the Raspotočje pit, but we will try to agree with Elektroprivreda BiH to employ new workers as soon as possible” announced the director of Zenica Coal Mine  Nevzet Vrškić.

He added that the norm in the Stranjani pit will be reduced.

As miners entered the pit yesterday, Vrškić announced that they will be able to start working in the third shift tonight.
