JAHORINA, August 15 (FENA) – BiH Presidency Member and leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik reiterated today, after the meeting with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Petr Ivantsov, that there is no agreement on the submission of the Annual National Program (ANP) to Brussels.
He also confirmed that he has never supported such a thing, adding that "ANP was invented by the Bosniak elite" to prevent the appointment of the new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers after general elections held in October last year.
Dodik said that he did not agree on the document because the RS National Assembly adopted the Resolution on Military Neutrality, and he also stated that the current convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers did not support the document.
He also believes that BiH Presidency Chairman and Democratic Front (DF) leader Željko Komšić, to complicate the situation, has scheduled a regular session and put a famous document to a vote, saying that if Dodik does not vote ANP, he will not vote for the candidate for the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija."
Dodik announced that he will attend a BiH Presidency session scheduled for Tuesday, August 20.
Dodik and Ivantsov have expressed their commitment to the appointment of the new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers as soon as possible. He also announced different scenarios if it does not happen within 30 days of the adoption of the Principles for the state-level government formation signed on August 5.
The Russian ambassador to BiH expressed serious concern about the current political situation in BiH, recalling that stability and development of the country are being questioned 10 months after the elections.
