MOSTAR, August 20 (FENA) - The Croatian National Assembly (HNS) Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a press release reaffirming its commitment to BiH's integration into the European Union and NATO "as a key part of its foreign policy strategy that supports stability, prosperity and development".
"It is unacceptable to use instruments that lead BiH to stability and development, namely EU and NATO integrations, to foster blockade, internal conflicts and political extortion. Endangering state stability through obstruction of the Agreement on the Principles of Government Formation is risk that BiH cannot afford, especially at this time. We call for restraint from the misuse of reconciliation and progress mechanisms, noting that compromise and co-operation are one of the fundamental principles of the European spirit and values, " the HNS emphasized.
HNS added that they will continue to advocate EU and NATO membership, defending the integration process.
"The Croatian National Assembly strongly urges the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to respect the signed Agreement by appointing a chairman for the Council of Ministers, so that, with the finally established state government, they can fully address day-to-day challenges and problems that Bosnia and Herzegovina faces," said the HNS BiH in a statement.
