SARAJEVO, August 22 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed at a session today that the candidate for the chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, meets all the necessary conditions for appointment regulated by the Election Law of BiH.
Namely, upon the request of the BiH Presidency, as the authority competent for appointing the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the Central Election Commission in accordance with and on the basis of the authority referred to in Article 10b and 10c of the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH determined that the proposed candidate for the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, meets all the necessary conditions for appointment regulated by the Election Law of BiH.
The BiH Central Election Commission, during the screening procedure, determined that the proposed candidate is currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Republika Srpska National Assembly.
In case that the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly confirms the appointment of this candidate, CEC BiH shall act in accordance with the provisions of Article 1.10. of the Election Law of BiH, stated the CEC Press Office.
