Ćuzulan: Progress in meeting proactive transparency standards

SARAJEVO, August 22 (FENA) – Office of Coordinator for Public Administration in BiH has conducted a survey and found that the average compliance with the proactive transparency standard is 63.46 percent. The survey covered 74 institutions, of which 44 answered all 38 questions.

According to the results of a survey on meeting the standards of proactive transparency of public institutions in BiH, four institutions of the Council of Ministers of BiH meet one hundred percent of the standards of proactive transparency. They are the Directorate for European Integration, the BiH Agency for Statistics, the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance and Office of Coordinator for Public Administration. These four institutions published all data and information of public importance, from employee contacts to the income of the heads of these institutions, as well as of all civil servants and state employees.

Institute of Metrology of BiH has the lowest standards.

Coordinator for Public Administration Reform in BiH Dragan Ćuzulan said today that the average compliance of the proactive transparency standards is about 64 percent which is an improvement compared to the analysis of public institutions' web sites in 2016, when the average level of transparency (in the sample of 68 institutions) was 34.8 percent.
