MOSTAR, August 26 (FENA) - President of HDZ BiH and the Croat National Assembly (HNS) BiH Dragan Čović said today in Mostar that it is unacceptable for him that executive power has not been formed yet, although the party leaders have agreed on all the details as well as the distribution of power.
After a session of the HNS Presidency, Čović said he could only speculate on whether a new Council of Ministers of BiH would be formed tomorrow.
“I expect a possible manipulation from the BiH Presidency tomorrow to get a chairman, and that this process will again be slightly compromised,” said Čović.
When journalists asked him what kind of manipulation he was talking about, Čović replied that it is possible to address the issue of the formation of the Council of Ministers in the Parliament, instead in the Presidency.
Speaking about the situation in Aluminij, the HNS President Dragan Čović confirmed that the crisis staff provided severance pay for 500 employees that can be paid this week, and that 385 workers could be returned to work in the first phase of starting of production.
He added that the crisis staff introduced a potential partner for in-depth analysis of the company to completely start production and negotiated the process of linking of past service for all employees with the FBiH Government.
He added that the key task was to ensure the protection of all employees, which was done by not going into bankruptcy.
