FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 28 (FENA) - An exhumation procedure was completed today in the wider area of Turalići, located between Kladanj and Vlasenica, in which the remains of at least three victims of the past war were found and exhumed.

According to information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, it is believed that these are Bosniak victims from the Srebrenica area who tried to cross over Vlasenica into the free territory in 1995. This is an extremely dangerous area covered in landmines.

The remains were found on the surface of the terrain and after exhumation they were transported to the Tuzla Commemoration Center, where forensic and criminal-technical processing will be performed and bone samples will be taken for DNA analysis to determine the identity of the victims.

The exhumation was handled by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH at the order of the BiH Court, stated the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH.
