SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will convene on September 10 and 11, it was announced.
After the end of the third regular session, which began and adjourned in June without a fixed agenda, a fourth regular session will follow. A comprehensive agenda was proposed for both sessions.
For the former, amendments to the Public Revenue Affiliation Act were proposed among other topics. The proponent is the representative Hamdija Abdić and the desired goal is for the Una-Sana Canton to receive more funds in the distribution of public revenues than hitherto since it has been hit hardest by the migrant crisis in the Federation of BiH.
Numerous legislative and other acts were also nominated for the third and fourth sessions, including the program of this year's work of the FBiH Government.
The third regular session was adjourned in June at the request of the HDZ BiH, which said that before resuming, a new leadership of the House should be elected.
In the meantime, this was partially done at an extraordinary session in July. Mirsad Zaimović of the SDA was then appointed Speaker of the House, while Mladen Bošković of the HDZ BiH was elected one of the two Vice-Presidents. The seat of the second Vice-President, reserved for Serbs, has remained vacant since Mile Atlagić, then SDP MP and Goran Opsenica of the HDZ BiH, rejected the nominations.
In the meantime, Atlagić has left the SDP, thus there are speculations that he could accept office in the new circumstances.
The rule is that the three heads of the House of Representatives are at the same time representatives of the three constituent peoples of BiH.
