USAID–Support to development of women's business in marginalized groups in Žepče

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 10 (FENA) - USAID's Marginalized Groups Support Program, in cooperation with the Municipality of Žepče, has provided 80,000 KM to support the launching and development of businesses for women from marginalized groups. Grant contracts will be signed with nine women tomorrow in Žepče.

Businesses will be launched in the areas of manufacturing, tourism, hospitality, crafts, agriculture and services, and entrepreneurs will be provided with financial and mentoring support in starting and maintaining a business.

It is about supporting business development for women with disabilities, mothers with disabilities, women from rural areas, victims of violence and unemployed young women.

The funds are allocated through the Business Support Fund for the marginalized women’s business group, which was established in early 2017 and through which more than 100 businesses have been supported so far, USAID announced.
