SARAJEVO, September 10 (FENA) – The FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić explained today the program of this year's work of the FBiH Government at a session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program was developed on the basis of the FBiH Government's Work Program for the mandate period 2015 - 2018, the FBiH Economic Reform Program 2019 - 2021, the BiH Reform Agenda for 2015 - 2018 adopted by governments at all levels in BiH and the annual work plans of the Federation-level ministries, which were submitted for processing to the FBiH Institute for Programming Development.
According to the Prime Minister, the FBiH Government's Work Program for 2019 defines strategic goals, programs and activities that contribute to the implementation of the set strategic goals. The operators, deadlines for execution, performance measures for direct results, expected annual results and sources and amounts of funds are also specified.
The Government's strategic goals and programs for 2019 are related to further alignment of domestic legislation with EU legislation, preservation of macroeconomic stability and strengthening of fiscal responsibility, economic reforms, construction and reconstruction of transport, energy and environmental infrastructure, continuation of reforms of the judiciary and public administration, health and social sector, fighting against corruption and organized crime, strengthening cooperation with civil society organizations, protecting against discrimination, and strengthening regional cooperation and coordination between cantons.
According to Novalić, the priorities of the FBiH Government in 2019 are focused on projects for intensifying economic development, strengthening the internal social stability of the Federation of BiH and strengthening the rule of law, as well as initiating and implementing reforms aligned with the needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cooperation with other levels of government in BiH and working on Euro-Atlantic integrations towards a long-term sustainable and stable system that will make the Federation more competitive.
