MOSTAR, September 12 (FENA) – The FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić says reorganization and restructuring is a basic prerequisite for the survival and future of mines in the Federation of BiH.
“From 2009 to 2015, almost all the mines did not pay a single mark in taxes, and that had to be compensated at some point, and that time is right now. The total debt to the Tax Administration is 473 million KM, with only Breza and Zenica mines accounting for half of that - Zenica with 141 million and Breza 88 million,” Minister Džindić said.
“Workers and miners must be paid their salaries, and the taxes and contributions that come with that pay, and the directors who cannot settle that issue… well the only thing I can say is that it would only be fair to resign without us finding someone to do the job and fulfill what government back then,” said the minister.
He called on all those who had led to this situation with the mines to resign.
“We must do a reorganization and we must replace the persons who stopped this kind of reorganization earlier,” said Minister Džindić.
