FENA

MOSTAR, September 18 (FENA) - Representatives of the FBiH Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and grant recipients from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed today incentive contracts in Mostar for 2019.

According to the FBiH Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Amir Zukić, 399 beneficiaries received the incentives, and the total value of signed contracts amounts to 3,408,000 KM.

These are grants that have been approved through eight projects: incentives for innovators - individuals incentives for associations, chambers and educational institutions, improvement of institutional entrepreneurial infrastructure, technical harmonization (introduction of ISO and HACCP standards and CE marking), incentives for the preservation of old and traditional crafts, incentives for the development of related and specialty crafts, incentives for newly established small business entities and boosting the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Minister Zukić also announced the projects that the ministry intends to implement in the coming period.

“Projects in the implementation phase are the construction of entrepreneurial zones, for which 4.5 million KM has been earmarked, where local government units appear as applicants, then scholarships for students for education for scarce occupations, where 100,000 KM are planned and provision of mentoring services for small businesses, in which through the provision of grants, we provide expert and technical assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises,” said Minister Zukić.

One of the signatories, Marin Jozić of the Linnovate Technology Park in Livno, thanked the Ministry for the allocated funds and said it was one of the first projects to receive support in the year and a half since the launch of the Livno Technology Park.

“This is a project aimed at promoting entrepreneurship on one hand and improving the quality of educational content within Linnovate TP on the other. These funds will help us raise our operations to a higher level and get a curriculum that can then be renewed and repeated in a more professional manner,” said Jozić.
