Komšić: We will not forget Chirac's help in the fight for peace and independence

SARAJEVO, September 26 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić sent a letter of condolence over the death of former French President Jacques Chirac to French President Emmanuel Macron, the Chirac family and French citizens.

“Your Excellency, I extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to you, the family of Jacques Chirac and the citizens of the French Republic, on behalf of the Presidency of BiH and on myself.

The death of President Jacques Chirac is a great loss for the entire peaceful world, and for those who respect fundamental civilizational values ​​such as freedom, peace and democracy.

This is a great loss for the citizens of the Republic of France, but also for the citizens of the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will never forget the friendly assistance of President Chirac in the fight for peace and independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Once again, I extend my deepest and most sincere condolences to you, the family of the deceased and the citizens of the French Republic,” Komšić wrote in his letter.
