Dalipagić noted that this motorway is a connection with Western Europe and Asia.

“Today we present one of the five routes that we consider to be the most suitable. The route will cost about 1.5 billion KM and will be about 102 kilometers long,” Dalipagić said.

He explained that the route starts in Počitelj - there will be a connection with Corridor 5C and goes partly to the municipalities of Stolac, Čapljina, Neum, Ravno, Ljubinje, Trebinje and further towards Montenegro, and the connection point with Montenegro has already been defined.

“Follows preparation of the documentation in the second phase of the preliminary project Environmental Impact Study and the third phase of the main project, as well as related documentation and then the building permit, in order to make this project ready for the investment cycle,” said Goluža.
