SARAJEVO, September 29 (FENA) - On the third day of the Sarajevo Halal Fair 2019, the best companies and individuals have been rewarded for their contribution to the development of the halal industry.
The organizers of the fair, Bosnia Bank International (BBI), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the IsDB Group Business Forum THIQAH, presented the awards for the outstanding contribution to the development of the global halal industry to Malaysian company GISB Holding.
The award for outstanding contribution to the development of the European halal industry was awarded to AS Holding from Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the award for outstanding contribution to the development of the European halal market was awarded to German company Meggle.
The SHF 2019 Special Award of the organizer for the contribution to the European halal industry was awarded to Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
Deputy Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Olivera Majić, has received the Special Award of the Organizer for Contributing to the Southeast European Halal Industry.
A special award from the organizers for the contribution to the halal industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented to Valdet Peštalić, Head of the Education Department at the Agency for Halal Quality Certification in BiH.
The Croatian company 'Kraš' has been awarded the Special Award of the Organizer for the Development of Halal Products.
The SHF 2019 Visitors' Award for the Best Stand was awarded to Bosnia and Herzegovina's MBA Center.
During the three days of SHF 2019, meetings of regional halal product manufacturers and halal service providers took place from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia and Albania connecting them with large buyers and distributors from Turkey, Malaysia, Austria, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bahrain, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, China, USA, Norway and other countries.
