SARAJEVO, October 2 (FENA) - European Commission delegation has arrived at the meeting of FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić, Director of BH-Gas Jasmin Salkić, RS Deputy Minister of Energy and Mining Milenko Totorović and Director of Gas Transport Milomir Draganić in Sarajevo regarding the suspension of gas transportation in the FBiH.
The reason for arrival of the representatives of the European Commission is that the participants of the meeting could not agree on gas transport, because “Gas Transport” wants to sign the contract on gas transportation as a contract between two countries, not two entities, which is unacceptable for the FBiH.
The gas plant in Zvornik stopped the transportation of gas to the Federation of BiH yesterday. The RS stated as a reason that BH-Gas did not renew the contract for the next year.
