TRAVNIK, October 11 (FENA) - Ceremony of the allocation of keys to apartments for 20 displaced families and families in social need, who lived in a collective center at the location of Dolac Lašva, was held today in Travnik.
A new building has been constructed under the project "Closure of Collective Centers and Alternative Housing by Providing Public Housing Solutions" - CEB II, implemented by the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Federation of BiH.
The FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, Edin Ramić, stated that today's event is a step towards the overall goal of the CEB II Project, namely the closure of collective centers and alternative accommodation.
He added that the goal is to provide housing solution for all displaced persons as soon as possible, in order to direct resources towards economic strengthening of that category with a focus on return.
The total value of the newly constructed building in the Municipality of Travnik amounts to KM 1.7 million, of which the Council of Europe Development Bank loans are around KM 1.3 million. The rest of the funds are the participation of the Municipality, which provided the land, project documentation, permits, works supervision services and connection of the facility to necessary infrastructure.
Otherwise, within the CEB II project, the implementation of 49 sub-projects in 29 municipalities is planned in the Federation of BiH, in which 1,450 housing units will be constructed or restored for 4,350 beneficiaries from the category of displaced persons or persons in social need.
The Federation of BiH's credit for implementing the CEB II Project is close to KM 80 million.
