GORAŽDE, October 17 (FENA) - Representatives of the Swiss Development Agency today visited Podrinje Canton - Goražde, where they expressed readiness to support the drafting of a new development strategy for this part of BiH at a meeting with Prime Minister of the Podrinje Canton Aida Obuća.
“We have been in talks with the Swiss Embassy and the Development Agency (UNDP) for a long time when it comes to supporting projects in the Podrinje Canton. Today, we have specified this in the case of our development strategy. Our current strategy expires in 2020 and we need to start preparing a new one for the coming period.
It is encouraging that the Swiss Development Agency will support the project of developing a new strategy so that we are not only beneficiaries, for someone else to do it for us, but that we are partners in the development of a new strategy for the Podrinje Canton,” said Obuća.
