SIPA: One person arrested within operation “Coffee” for manufacturing drugs

SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) - Police officers from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person yesterday in Sarajevo within the operation code-named "Coffee". The person arrested is suspected of the criminal offense of "Illicit Manufacturing and Marketing of Narcotic Drugs".

SIPA police officers searched a residential building and thus found and temporarily seized about 22 kilograms of white powdery substance that by its appearance is associated with the intoxicating drug "Speed", SIPA stated.

The suspect was taken to the premises of SIPA and subjected to criminal investigation, after which he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton within the statutory time frame.
