MOSTAR, October 21 (FENA) - Vjekoslav Bevanda, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH , said today that it is necessary to form Council of Ministers as soon as possible and start addressing important issues that are increasing every day, assessing that this situation halts reforms and opportunities for BiH to make progress on its path to the European Union.
“It is time to stop accusing each other and to do what is a legal obligation and for what people voted,” said Bevanda, PR Office of the HDZ BiH stated.
According to him, many projects have stalled because no government has been formed at the state level.
“We are awaiting the ratification of a series of contracts to make the funds of credit arrangements operational. If we keep to everyone's demands and wishes and in some way political blackmails, we will be at loss,” said the Minister of Finance and Treasury.
In BiH, it is important to work hard to regain trust among people, which is the obligation of political representatives of all peoples. It is necessary to agree on all sides and set realistic goals that will be feasible as soon as possible, Bevanda said.
The Minister stressed that it would be good if the meeting between the HDZ BiH and the SDA, scheduled for next Monday, October 28, would also be the final stage in the agreements on forming a government so that the state function normally and help its citizens first and foremost.
