Željko Komšić as special guest on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day in Chicago

SARAJEVO, October 28 (FENA) - Bosnian-Herzegovinian community in Chicago traditionally marks all Bosnia and Herzegovina's national holidays, thereby this year they will also mark November 25, BiH Statehood Day.

This time, a solemn reception and a dinner will be organized on Sunday, November 24 under the auspices of BiH organizations from Chicago and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić will be the special guest, BiH organizations in Chicago announced.  

In addition, the Permanent Representative of BiH to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Sven Alkalaj, is scheduled to address, as well as Director of the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada Emir Ramić, former BiH Ambassador to the United States Haris Hrle and Consul General Elvir Resić.

"The group of young intellectuals who are preparing this program are hoping that as many young people as possible will join them in organizing the ceremony on the occasion of the Statehood Day. All attendees will be able to enjoy a rich cultural program prepared by this group," the organizers said.
