SARAJEVO, November 11 (FENA) - President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, at a press conference today in Sarajevo said that they will continue with expanding the SDP of BiH in areas where the party does not have a satisfactory support, especially referring to the constituting the SDP BiH organization in Foča.
He presented a number of newly elected presidents of cantonal and regional SDP BiH organizations who, as he said, "will carry out activities in cantonal and regional organizations and, together with their friends and colleagues municipal and city organizations, conduct SDP activities in the upcoming local elections".
Asked by journalists if the SDP supports that BiH becomes part of the "Mini-Schengen", Nikšić said that this idea is very interesting.
“It opens the space for countries in this region to strengthen economies by a freer, more efficient flow of goods, services and people.
After all, the EU has also practically made economic progress by opening the borders between its member states, and creating a faster flow of goods and capital. Such an initiative is something positive as far as we are concerned, and it would certainly be good for the economic prosperity and development of the entire region,” said Nikšić.
