SARAJEVO, November 11 (FENA) - President of the Independent Bloc Senad Šepić said today that any initiative that would facilitate better flow, business and communication in the Western Balkans region is welcomed in order to solidify the uncompromising path.
He said in a statement that it is good in the sense that the representatives of the European Commission met in Ohrid and that the meeting and agreement had the support of the United States of America and that it included the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).
“It is a disability and irresponsibility of the ruling parties that BiH does not have a defined position and does not play an active role in these situations, which is why the business community and BiH citizens will suffer,” Šepić added, commenting on the meeting of the Western Balkans leaders in Ohrid.
However, he thinks that many of the previously announced, agreed or undertaken regional co-operation, such as CEFTA, regional warfare initiatives of the 1990s, have not been implemented or have only come to a half.
He called on all those negotiating on behalf of BiH not to forget it and to insist on their implementation, as well as to take the initiative and actively participate in regional projects that mean starting the economy and developing BiH and the whole region.
