The Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the company Fair Services (IZFAS) from Izmir as one of the largest trade show organizers in Turkey, and representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina's ENERGA Fair signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Sarajevo at headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce.

The signatories are the President of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce Mirsad Jašarspahić, on behalf of the Energa project, Chairman of the Board of the Tuzla Trade Fair, Zlatko Alidžanović, and on behalf of IZFAS, Deputy General Director Onur Fatih Gokcedag.

The Memorandum, among other things, envisages continued cooperation with Turkey's IZFAS.

In a statement to the press, the President of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce reminded reporters that this institution is a partner of many specialist fairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, among them the ENERGA Fair, which is held annually in June.

“Through our activities with the ENERGA Fair, with the partner fair MINEX, organized by IZFAS in Izmir, we had a kind of a contract to provide free space for the promotion of our Energa project in Izmir and the MINEX Izmir promotion here in Sarajevo.

A few weeks ago we visited this year's MINEX fair and agreed to continue cooperation in which we would like to include more specialist fairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Jašarspahić said.

Onur Fatih Gokcedag, the signatory of the Memorandum on behalf of IZFAS, stressed the importance of the BiH market for Turkey, adding that the two countries' businesses have set a goal of making a billion-dollar worth exchange.

“We hope that our two companies, under the patronage of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce, will do a good job,” he said, reminding that today's signing of the contract was preceded by a two-year period of getting to know the economies of the two countries, which is why the partners are not foreign to each other because they have been cooperating for two years now, both in BiH and in Turkey.
