SARAJEVO, November 14 (FENA) - Delegations of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH), led by party leaders Bakir Izetbegović and Dragan Čović, discussed today in Sarajevo the amendments to the Election Law.

The HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović told the press after the meeting that they have agreed to continue the process of finding a solution.

“I believe that we will make a precise plan for these two parties, hopefully by the end of next week, to offer some solutions, as a joint effort, and then possibly include all others that need to be included in order to adopt the amendments in the BiH PA House of Representatives,” Čović said.

The SDA President Bakir Izetbegović said they set for themselves a two-week deadline to try to create a framework for resolving the implementation of the decisions of the two courts, the Strasbourg Court and the BiH Constitutional Court.

“We believe there is a chance to reach an agreement. When we create an orientation framework, then we will include other coalition partners - SBB and DF. That is what I have agreed with their presidents. Then, if we can reach an agreement with them also, it would be sent further into the procedure through the Parliamentary Assembly,” said Izetbegović.
