Šarović: SNSD's swift reaction is proof that we were right

BANJA LUKA, November 15 (FENA) - The Serb Democratic Party President Mirko Šarović said that, as soon as the possibility of blocking the BiH Parliament was eliminated for the sake of narrow-minded interests, the SNSD provided the names of the parliamentary commissions’ members.

“Today's swift reaction of the SNSD proves that we were right. But our initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure did not just refer to this case but to any future similar situation,” Šarović said.

He added that he would evaluate together with their partners whether they should go on with the session they have initiated.

“We will first consult with those who have supported this initiative in order to make sure we prevent any kind of such blockade in the future.

This is not an initiative linked to this instance alone, but for any similar situation in the future. Our intentions are concrete and honest. We will not make decisions alone but through consultation with a broad group of MPs who are not bound by party coalitions,” Šarović said, adding that they have secured 27 votes in favor of the initiative.
