Šarović: We have made a step forward to break the 'deadlock'

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, November 17 (FENA) - Our goal to unblock the work of the BiH Parliament and allow MPs to do their work has been achieved. We have made a big step forward to break the "deadlock" and we expect the session to be scheduled next week, SDS President Mirko Šarović said yesterday.

"SNSD's providing the names of the parliamentary commissions’ members is proof that we were right and submission of their names will not affect our decisions. Our initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure refer not only to this case, but also to any future situation and attempts of possible obstructions, similar to those we have had so far," Šarović said.

He added that with this decision BiH parliament would be allowed to work instead of using, as before, exclusively for blackmail and narrow-minded interests of one political party.
