SARAJEVO, November 19 (FENA) - The third emergency session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for tomorrow with only one item on the agenda.
It is a request for urgent consideration of the Proposal for Amendment to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, proposed by MPs Mirko Šarović, Dragan Mektić, Branislav Borenović and Mira Pekić.
Deputies to the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and leaders of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) and Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Mirko Šarović and Branislav Borenović recently told reporters that they had submitted an initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure to ensure early elections of the working bodies (committee) of the House of Representatives, because without it the highest legislative body in the country is not fully constituted.
A few days ago, Head of the Serb caucus in the BiH PA House of Representatives, Nenad Stevandić announced that the Serb Caucus, in agreement with the SNSD Caucus, had nominated candidates for commissions in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Denis Zvizdić convened a session of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly tomorrow afternoon, which should include, among other things, determining the nomination of members of the standing committees of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, as well as an agreement to schedule the second session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.
The agenda should also include consideration of a letter from the Constitutional Court of BiH regarding Milorad Dodik's request for review of the constitutionality of the Law on the Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the provisions of Article 1, paragraph 6 of the Constitution of BiH.
