SARAJEVO, November 20 (FENA) - Speaker of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) and the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) MP's Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Mirko Šarović, told the reporters after the session of the House of Representatives today, at which amendments to the Rules of Procedure were adopted, that their essence is to unblock the formation of parliamentary committees.
He added that this amendment to the Rules of Procedure made this practically possible and accelerated.
"These amendments to the Rules of Procedure do not affect either the Constitution or the law, they do not affect the entity competencies or the national structure of anyone. It allows the House of Representatives of the BiH PA to work at all times. Nobody disputes anybody, I think about the MPs, their share in the parliamentary committees and bodies," Šarović explained.
SDA Caucus Speaker Adil Osmanović said they supported the initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives because it was necessary to amend Article 6, which allowed any caucus if it fails to submit its proposal to set up a committee the work of the House of Representatives may be blocked.
“Therefore, we supported the proposed change and consider it to be a contribution to better work, both by the committee of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA and the House itself,” said Osmanović.
SDP BiH MP's Caucus Speaker Saša Magazinović said that amending the Rules of Procedure in this regard is a good move of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
