SARAJEVO, November 22 (FENA) - Citizens gathered outside the FBiH Government building in Sarajevo to protest over the treatment of residents at the Pazarić Institute have called on the EU Delegation to BiH to hold a meeting to support citizens' efforts to improve conditions at the Institute.
They also ask for human and material support that the Delegation can provide to the Pazarić Institute’s residents in order to exercise their basic human rights.
The third request of citizens relates to claiming the responsibilities of state, FBiH and cantonal institutions partially or fully responsible for the situation in the Pazarić Institute for the realization of basic human rights guaranteed by the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
At today's session in Sarajevo, the FBiH Government has made a decision to dismiss the director and members of the Supervisory Board and the Management of the Institute, but the citizens remain unhappy.
Citizens departed at about 2 p.m.
The new protest is announced for tomorrow at 12.00 in front of the Eternal Fire in Sarajevo.
